WE ARE EMERGENCY 411
Emergency411 seeks to enhance the quality of disaster volunteer responders who give selflessly of their valuable personal time to help those in need by offering financial aid awards to assist them with living expenses, travel expenses, advance training opportunities, conference expenses, and other needs to help them survive during the time they are volunteering.
With this in mind, Emergency411 was formed by active, background checked disaster volunteers who have worked in the disaster community for over 20 years responding to large and small disasters and have seen this need and want to help and give support to caregivers.
Emergency 411 knows that our strength lies not only in the quality volunteers we work with but the results they produce. We work with those who are the best at whatever activity they are trained in, whether it is serving food, cutting trees, helping in a shelter, doing a cleanup, or helping with emotional and spiritual care.
We do not discriminate and try to help any individual or group who applies for help.

TRAINING
Our emergency preparedness training is available for all types of groups, from families, churches and social groups to schools and businesses. Training touches on a wide range of topics, including how to handle any disaster scenario, what to pack in your emergency kit, how to create emergency kits for your family, and how to properly store an emergency kit, how to set up your calling tree, how to plan your escape route, when to shelter in place and when to leave the area, how to secure your business to make sure you can work when it's all over.

Emergency 411 also trains individuals and groups on what to do in situations involving an evacuation, miscommunication, or a lack of transportation, food, and shelter.
